which version/lab environment? from which browser? unable means => error page, no error, security warning?
I experienced some troubles some time ago and I still do sometimes after reinstallation but I do not use a lot the VID for my activities. The problem was due to security issues and browser configuration. Can you access the vid portal directly (after you connect to the portal for the creds) https://vid.api.simpledemo.onap.org:30200/vid/welcome.htm If I access once directly then it works from the portal for me..
