It was decided at today’s PTL meeting, that going forward, project teams should push OOM Chart patches only to the master release branches. This includes aai/oom and robot/oom submodules. The OOM Committers and Integration team will primarily focus on testing and merging patches to the master branches. While the staging branches and staging daily will not be removed, they will become somewhat inactive. Project teams that have a need to use a staging environment should co-ordinate with OOM and Integration team to assist in merging and verification.
This move will help avoid confusion and expedite delivery of patches for EL Alto. We understand the need for a staging-like environment and will revisit this in the Frankfurt Release. Thanks, Mike.
