Hi, I had the same problem in my Ubuntu18 host and could fix it by forcing the host to use python3.x instead of python2. So changing /usr/bin/python to python3 by using the hints here (https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/410579/change-the-python3-default-version-in-ubuntu) worked for me.
