Hi ONAP community, Three ci-management changes (topic inactive-repos-jenkins) trim the Jenkins jobs we still run for repositories nobody is working on. They are based on live Jenkins, Gerrit and GitHub data from October 27. https://gerrit.onap.org/r/q/topic:inactive-repos-jenkins
1. https://gerrit.onap.org/r/c/ci-management/+/148888 Disables (does not delete) the jobs of 43 repos that are outside the current release and have had no merge by a non-bot contributor in 12 months. The repo list is in the commit message. 2. https://gerrit.onap.org/r/c/ci-management/+/148889 Removes 9 dead jobs: the rtdv3-global jobs (disabled since 2023), old lab and OpenCI jobs (no repo, last run 2018-2019), and a docker job that points to a non-existent project and fails every week. 3. https://gerrit.onap.org/r/c/ci-management/+/148890 Lets ONAP job templates honour the disable flag, so the rest of the jobs in (1) are disabled too. No other job changes. Benefits - 256 fewer enabled jobs, which shrinks what is left on Jenkins as the GitHub Actions migration proceeds. - 23 of the 41 timer jobs cover by these Gerrit changes are failing or unstable today, so this also removes noise. - Low risk: a before/after render of every job shows only the intended jobs change, and all three changes pass CI. Disabled jobs keep their configuration and history; reverting Gerrit change 148888 re-enables them. - INFO.yaml updates keep working: each repo keeps the one Jenkins job that casts the third Verified vote Gerrit requires. What we ask - PTLs: please check the repo list in Gerrit change 148888. If a repo isstill needed, comment on the change and we will keep or re-enable its jobs.
