Dear All, I just want to bring it to everyone's notice that, for people coming from India ( & also China I guess ), we won't likely make it to the event as Canadian Visa issuance is taking a solid 1 month as per my travel desk . Though I have started the paperwork ( they are asking too much info :-( ) , I'm very much skeptical in getting a visa before Oct 29/30 . Had the registration for the event was made available a week back, things would have been much smoother.
Hence I here *request* both IBM & LF Events committee to try pushing this event by a week (Nov 5,6) so that folks like me who are travelling from India would get a chance to attend this F2F . May I also request other members who are also on the same boat as of me, to comment here, so that we can estimate no of people who are impacted. Thanks!
