Dear TSC members, I would like to submit my self-nomination for the ONAP TSC Chair.
I am both excited and prepared to serve again as Chair of the ONAP TSC with the newly elected and returning TSC members to build upon the successes of the past and deliver on ONAP TSC's mission to support and promote the ONAP Community. Our most important priority is to ensure that ONAP will continue to be the reference automation platform for Software Defined Network. This starts with continuing to grow the set of platform features in ONAP that service providers need and help accelerate the onboarding and instantiation of vendor VNFs/PNFs and CNF support into production networks. A robust code base is necessary as a foundation for that objective. To drive this priority, I will work together with the TSC to focus on the following: 1. Support our PTLs and our ONAP release manager in executing our ONAP strategy; 2. Pursue our continuous integration/continuous delivery journey by adding more agility to our development process to identify early code improvements in the development cycle; 3. Establish a long term consolidated roadmap based on LFN End User Advisory Group's requirements, ONAP subcommittee and PTL inputs; 4. Remain engaged with other open source initiatives, standards and other ecosystems to improve and to share our ONAP Open Source best practices and guidelines.
