Dear ONAP TSC (or proxy),
I want to give some feedback from the call we had this week with Steve Winslow (IP/Legal) on May 19th, 2020. The removal of the GPL open sources from our containers is not 1 day of work. Therefore the recommendations we have discussed with Steve are #1 Ask a waiver to the TSC for the Frankfurt release (since no action was previously taken since Amsterdam) #2 Review docker files, helm charts to ensure that : - the images that are re-used "asis" are retrieved from external repositories (e.g. dockerhub) - the ONAP images, distributed by the project, that are built using base images and any additional layer comply with embedded license requirements and that a proper inventory, manifest exist. Task force led by Krzystof Opasiak with the project teams will be setup accordingly If you have no additional question then I will kick-off a TSC vote regarding these recommendations on May 22nd, 2020.
