Weather:
Morning sun becoming partly cloudy then overcast with approaching rain at
the end of the count. Light to moderate NNW winds.

Raptor Observations:
A nice steady flight of small kettles of broad-wings overhead for the first
few hours. The flight was slower and more spread out after that then slowed
considerably as it clouded over at in the last hours. 

Broad-winged Hawks were most numerous with over four hundred. Turkey
Vultures were steady with over a hundred. Other notable totals included 14
Bald Eagles, 35 sharpies, and 20 red-tails.

Non-raptor Observations:
North Lookout (morning birding): 300 Double-crested Cormorants, Red-headed
Woodpecker, 200 Blue Jays, White-crowned Sparrow, 3 Northern Yellow
Warblers, 2 Palm Warblers, Yellow-rumped Warbler, PRAIRIE WARBLER.

New species for season: Prairie Warbler

Predictions:
TOMORROW: Cloudy early then partly cloudy. High 47F. Winds W at 10-15mph.
Probably South Lookout. Expect light to moderate migration.

SUNDAY: Sunny. High 52F. Winds W at 10-15mph. South Lookout. Expect light
to moderate migration.

MONDAY: Mostly cloudy. High 65F. Winds SW at 10-15mph. Good winds. Keep eye
on for a decent flight.
