Moderate NNW winds. A bit chilly, but pleasant. Count conducted from the South Lookout. Raptor Observations: A light but steady flight with a scattered flight line. Turkey Vultures and Broad-winged Hawks tied for most numerous with 136 each. A lakeside group of 40+ broad-winged was the biggest group. A moderate Bald Eagle flight with 28. Sixteen red-tails and 12 sharpies. Small numbers of other species. Predictions: TOMORROW: Cloudy then partly cloudy. High 70F. Winds SW at 10-15mph. Good winds. Should be a decent hawk flight. Certainly the best looking day coming up. TUESDAY: Showers then thunderstorms. High 67F. Winds WSW at 10-15mph. Decent wind. Flight will depend on rain. WEDNESDAY: A steady morning rain then showers. High 48F. Winds NNW at 5-10mph. Expect minimal migration.
