Quite warm with temps reaching the upper 70s. Moderate winds starting SE and shifting WSW. Raptor Observations: A steady flight for the morning with some nice looks at groups of Turkey Vultures and Broad-winged Hawks. A bit slower in the midday then a small push ahead of the rain. Turkey Vultures had the best flight of the month with 559. A moderate Broad-winged Hawk flight with 271. 23 Red-tails, mostly or all juveniles. 39 Bald Eagles and 8 Ospreys. Six harriers. Three kestrels and a Merlin. Predictions: TOMORROW: Areas of patchy fog early. Cloudy then partial clearing. High 68F. Winds W at 5-10mph. Probably South Lookout. Expect light to moderate migration. MONDAY: Partly cloudy. High near 85F. Winds S at 5-10mph. A good wind, though fairly weak so a lake breeze is possible. Could be a decent flight for as long as we hold the south wind. TUESDAY: Partly cloudy. High 82F. Winds SW at 5-10mph.
