Expert level (hands-on) experience building and supporting Oracle RAC clusters *10+ years of supporting distributed databases* running on *HP-UX & Red Hat Linux OS’s* in enterprise datacenter environments 8+ years of supporting *Oracle 9i & 10g* databases including RAC and ASM 5+ years of supporting Oracle database backups using *RMAN/Veritas utilizing OEM & Grid Control* Extensive knowledge in *Oracle internals, SQL tuning, and database performance tuning* Strong *UNIX shell scripting (Perl preferred)* experience is a must Previous experience with *HP Service Desk* preferred Participate in 24x7 support as a member of the on-call rotation providing reactive support & planned changes. Optimize performance on database and applications by analysis of data modeling, schema design and SQL query review.
