We need a consultant for Lawson Software in St. Paul, MN. 3-6 month
contract.
Looking for an expert in SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services). ETL (SSIS)
experience is preferred, but we are really looking for someone who has
Medium to Advanced level skills in SSAS with experience on applying data
access security to the cubes based on hierarchies.
· Develop, maintain, monitor, and complete performance tuning of
SSAS OLAP cubes
· Develop and maintain reports (SSRS and Crystal)
· Develop SSIS packages for ETL load
· Provide data discovery and data profiling query extracts for
business review
· Document existing data stores and reports
· Develop ETL specifications, source to target mapping and complete
the documentation required for ETL development
· Assist in architecture with addition of new data domains
· Develop test cases and plans, and assist with system testing
· Assist in defining the overall data warehouse architecture (e.g.,
ETL process, ODS, EDW, Data Marts).
· Aligns with project scope and the data strategy that directly
supports the key business drivers.
· Understand business process in order to design appropriate
security controls, systems, and architectures as well as development of data
warehouse data security policies, standards, and procedures
· Communicates effectively with a broad audience from technicians to
business clients.
· Writes technical documents, contributes to design and business
cases, and creates plans for mitigating technical risk.
· Ability to respond to customers in a timely and friendly manner.
· Understand project management fundamentals in order to participate
as a valuable member of a disciplined project team or properly lead security
implementations.
· Function effectively as an ITS liaison with representatives of
other departments with whom the team may be partnered.
Maintain accurate and timely reports/statistics.
