Description To provide intermediate level system analysis, design,
development, and implementation of applications and databases for
mainframe-, client/server-, Web-, and/or PC-based systems.
Required Skills Required:
Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of
training and experience
Minimum of 3 years experience in the financial services industry, preferably
with an investment management company.
Minimum of 3 years systems development experience
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong analysis and problem solving skills
Strong organizational skills; ability to multitask
Experience with quality assurance methodologies [e.g., code reviews and
inspections]
Experience with systems analysis and design techniques
Experience with libraries, reusable code, and/or object oriented standards
Experience working in a UNIX environment.

*Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture [SOA] Concepts (required)
*Proficiency in developing services in BW (required)
*Proficiency with JMS and IBM MQ (Nice to Have)
*Understanding of Vanguard's Tibco deployment process, and how MO differs

*Understanding of Tibco vs. CheckFree field of use (Nice to Have)
*Understanding of where MoTibco processes reside in overall flow (Nice to

*Proficiency in Database concepts (required)
