Location: Tallahassee, FL Duration: 1-3 years *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * - Process content updates submitted by business units for display on corporate intranet/internet sites - Code and maintain presentation and application layer code for intranet/internet - Format content in HTML or convert documents to PDF format for distribution on corporate intranet/internet sites - Create new pages to support content - Assists the Web Development Team in the deployment of site content and enhancements to the site layout - Provide production support of existing intranet/internet systems - Participate in full development lifecycle: analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of internet and Portal applications - Interface with other IT areas and end-users in most phases of software development - Develop solutions which provide benefits for the end-users and vendors - Work with programmers in developing new applications to convert legacy applications to the web - Assist in the brainstorming, evaluation, and selection of alternative solutions - Design, code and document software in the appropriate language using standard techniques - Modify existing programs and documentation as necessary to meet user requirements - Coordinate Quality Assurance testing on intranet/internet before updates go live - Performs other essential duties as assigned *REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: * - Experience working with portals and integrating apps within a portal environment - Experience in more than one of the following languages: Cold Fusion, C#, ASP.Net, and Java - Experience and knowledge of portal standards (i.e. JSR 168, JSR 286, WSRP, etc.) - Experience in graphics design and editing with Fireworks, Photoshop, or other mainstream graphics tools. - Strong understanding of database schema, normalization and SQL query language - Thorough knowledge and understanding of Web GUI standards and good web design principles - In-depth knowledge of graphics and their optimization and application for web sites - Knowledge and demonstrated adaptation of cross-platform, cross-browser compatibility concerns - Ability to provide assistance for team members in the development and implementation of business solutions - Ability to maintain communication with customers to ensure system meets customer’s requirements - Self-motivated and able to work cohesively within a team environment - Ability to work on multiple, concurrent project initiatives *REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * - B.A./B.S. technical degree, related certification or equivalent experience in a technical field - 5 years of current web programming experience. - 2 years of portal development experience. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "only.SAP" group.
