The main responsibilities of this position are the design and development of enhancements to a mainframe system. Significant responsibilities are: writing program specifications, coding new programs and enhancements to existing programs, test case preparation and execution, deployment, documentation and transition of knowledge to the support team. Debugging and execution of all levels of testing, including unit, system, integration and user acceptance testing and documentation of results is required. *Required Skills:* Minimum of 5-10 (five to ten) years of experience in the following: Technical mainframe analysis, design and development for information systems in a batch and online environment. MVS COBOL programming-IMS DB programming Test planning and execution Minimum of 3 (three) years of experience in the following Participating in the documentation of information technology application projects -Microsoft Suite experience (e.g. Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
