Business Analyst Location: Albany, NY * MANDATORY EXPERIENCE* *1. *Minimum of eight (8) years experience in IT business analysis and business requirement gathering. 2. Candidate must have skill and experience in working with end users to determine detailed business requirements for web-based applications. 3. Candidate must have skill and experience analyzing and documenting current (as is) and future (to be) business processes. 4. Candidate must have skill and experience developing and documenting business requirements in the form of use cases, process flow diagrams, and various other types of diagrams (e.g. State diagram, Context diagram). 5. Candidate must have skill and experience with desktop tools including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio. 6. Candidate must possess excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to produce clear and well organized documents. Experience must include communication with users at all levels including management or executive level staff. *ASSOCIATED SKILL SETS* 1. Experience with the Rational Unified Process (RUP) and the IBM RequisitePro software tool. 2. Skill and experience using SQL to run queries and generate reports. 3. Experience in developing test material and conducting tests of applications. 4.
