*Adobe CQ Developer Parsippany, NJ 6+ Months Contract* Responsible for architecture, design, and delivery of software projects specific to the Adobe CQ platform and suite of SAS based Adobe tools. The position will be expected to be proficient in operating, configuring, and programming needed using the CQ tools including programming skills in Java. Defines system and application architecture and provides vision, problem anticipation, and problem solving ability to organization. The Adobe architect will be expected to support and sometimes execute changes specific to the Adobe CQ platform to meet business objectives and resolve production issues. *ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:* Deliver minor code changes on CQ platform or Java based web services as needed Directly manage and change CQ platform configurations as needed Manage existing enterprise systems and vendor development and support. Manage the delivery of change request for systems. Lead and direct the work of others. Oversee architecture deliverables and review designs for existing system enhancements and new systems. Responsible for assigned strategic planning of application technologies. Review design and architecture of vendor software development projects. Lead Root Cause Analysis on production software defects and solution or drive necessary remediation of those defects. Review Performance and Test Engineering efforts and deliverables for software development projects. Support the Quality organization in vendor management of software support SLAs. Lead design of software platform enhancements to meet business stakeholder objects or goals. *MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: *3+ years of development (within the last five years) with Adobe CQ 5+ years of Java development experience. *MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:* Translates business requirements into technical details relevant to Adobe CQ. Resolve user identified functional and technical issues relating to Adobe CQ Provides onsite/offshore technical leadership on large, complex Adobe CQ projects. Leads a team of offshore engineers and responsible for on-time delivery of allocated Adobe CQ project/project modules. Verify/Validate/QA the teams work to ensure that the team generates high quality output.
