Position: .NET Web Services Developer Location : Houston, TX Duration: long-term 12+ month contract! Its will extend *Rate: $50/hr C2C Max* Required Skills: *ASP.NET, C#, WCF, MVC, SQL, SSIS, SSRS, Web Services, REST, AJAX, SOA, Unit Testing, OO programming, N-Tier Architecture, IIS, TSQL, WebAPI, entity framework, LINQ. These skills must reflect in the consultant resume.* *Description:* Client has an immediate need for a *Mid level experienced .Net Web Services Developer (Application Developer ).* Our client is rewriting an enterprise wide educational software package to incorporate existing application into a real time application. This application will touch over 40,000 users so enterprise web application development is key for this role. This is a long-term 12+ month contract! Its will extend *JOB QUALIFICATIONS: General* • 3- 5 years’ experience in enterprise-level software development. • Possesses an understanding of relational databases, database architecture, and data access tools. • Versant with source control processes, techniques, and tools such as Microsoft Team Foundation Server or Subversion. • Demonstrated ability to perform detailed technical analyses of custom and SaaS solutions to business problems. • Experienced in the development and execution of test plans and unit/component/system/integration testing. • Experienced in the use of reporting tools such as SSRS. • Experience documenting designs and solutions for client review. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field. *Programming Languages: *• Worked with .NET Technologies for at least 3 years. • Possesses strong skills in Microsoft technologies - MVC, SQL, ASP.NET<http://asp.net/>, WCF, C#, .NET 3.5-4.0, SSIS, SSRS. • Developed scalable web applications and/or websites. • Experienced with the latest web technologies - such as AJAX, Web Services, and REST - as well as with traditional web skills such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript. *Relational Databases: *• Understands complex database concepts as well as the implications of different database designs. • Effectively employs many different database design techniques. Solution Development and Delivery • Creates efficient and logical databases for clients. • Codes, and documents superior technical solutions.
