Length: Long Term *Description:* Information Security and the Technology department is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, technically competent Information Security person. The ideal candidate will have strong strategic and integrative thinking skills as well as good organizational and communication skills to work with diverse business areas in the Information Security space. This role involves both managing various aspects of risk and compliance management as well as an understanding and application of Information Security requirements for LOB initiatives by identifying, developing, leading and implementing corrective actions where needed. This includes enhancing and implementing consistent frameworks, performing risk assessments and managing applications and customer expectations for delivery of products. It will be crucial for the candidate to apply business, technical and industry knowledge to assess business risk, identify key controls, and perform risk based testing of Technology application controls. *Information Security Consultant Responsibilities: * · Ensure understanding of key department initiatives/projects and ensure Information Security requirements have been delivered/reviewed for the entire portfolio · Demonstrate ability to understand project technical requirements and provide mitigating controls to ensure adherence with Information Security policies and standards. · Demonstrate hands on technical experience with IT security implementation with both Software and Infrastructure security. · Demonstrate familiarity in protecting data with applications and databases. · Assist teams in understanding Data Security requirements, industry standards and best practices and align teams and projects to data security needs. · Ensure the appropriate Information Security resources are identified and aligned with department initiatives and ensure resources issues are escalated appropriately · Perform post validation of department projects and ensure that Information Security requirements have been met and gaps are identified and remediated · Serve as key point of contact for department on matters involving Information Security Services/processes and work with business partners to improve understanding key Information Security processes · Perform in an Agile Scrum Team, and for a Release Train · Assist the business in: o Advising on and developing risk based Big Data use cases o Perform hardware and software risk assessments for the entire Big Data environment. o Develop mitigation plans for managing risk in the Big Data environment. o Providing information security consultation and guidance for software tool selection to support and manage the Big Data Environment o Hands on implementing of security configurations, testing of controls/software builds, and training materials to further Information Security in the big data environment. *Basic Qualifications: * - High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification, or Military experience - 3 Years’ experience in Risk Management - 2 Years’ experience in Information Technology - Working knowledge of IT Operations (Network ops, Hosting, Storage, etc.) - Hands on experience with at least one of the following aspects information Security - application security, network security, identity and access management, third party security, etc. or 3 years of enterprise architecture experience - CISSP, CRISC, CRCM, CAMS, CISA, or CIPP Risk Management Certification *Preferred Qualifications*: - Familiarity with securing Hadoop, Java based software, and other databases. - 2 Years’ experience in Project management - Familiarity in Agile Scrum or similar framework - Bachelor’s degree in related field Thanks & Regards, Ramesh Kumar *Global **Associates Inc/ **VCarve Inc* *||* 7106 Corporate Way* ||* Dayton, OH 45459 *||* *||*Phone: 937-877-5870 * ||* Fax: 937-312-1205 *||* ram...@gassociates.com* or* ram...@vcarve.com *||* www.gassociates.com*||* <http://www.gassociates.com||/> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "only.SAP" group.
