yeah, I have always liked the idea of devotions and thought the family should
develop more.

I had an idea for a catt 2, obfuscate 2 devotion that would use  the mind
altering effects of obfuscate 2  to change the look of the zombies as they are
raised to look like deamons clawing there way out of hell to serve a
necromancer.

also, for ectoplasum use:
Ectoplasmic Armor (12 exp)
Prerequisites: Cattiveria 3, Resilience 1
The necromancers of the Sangiovanni family are not known for there prowess in
combat with mortals, other Kindred, or even with ghosts, but some of the
members of the Black Ring have found a way to combine the healing power of
Cattiveria and the prowess of Resilience to help shield them from the damage
that the enemies they deal with can dish out.
By activating this permutation of the blood the necromancer can shroud himself
in a thick, grey, smoky mist that acts as an armor against all attackers.
Cost: 1 willpower
Roll: Wits + Occult + Cattiveria
Action: Instant
Duration: 1 Scene
Roll Results:
Failure: The Armor fails to activate.
Success: The kindred envelops himself in a thick cloud of smoky, gray, mist of
ectoplasm, that clings to his person acting as a personal armor for a scene.
This power adds as many health level boxes as the successes rolled on the
activation roll.

Just some thoughs
(probably more to come)

I have been dwelling on future possibilities of custom devotions for the
Family and here are a couple I thought might find some acceptance in the
Family:

Zombiemageddon
In which the Sangiovanni basically prepares a Zombie horde in his Haven for
defense use only.  Concept would be that the Family member would take bodies
and bury them around their Haven, cost could be something like 'have to use
Catti 2 initially and then spend a vitae to put them in storage until
needed'.  Activation of the Zombiemageddon wouldn't be terribly much, say a
vitae at time of activation, but the prep time and such would be extensive.
There would need to be a central altar or artifact that had to be placed
that the Zombies could get no further than X feet from.

Zom be mine
In which the Sangiovanni could take control of zombies that had 0 mental
attributes (the brainless ones).  After all, with the casting of Catti 4,
Zombies now have some mental attributes and can concievably have some
reasoning ability, this could break control from their original masters
right? ;)

Ecoplasmmmmmmmmmmmmmm (perhaps something similar to Zom be Mine)
operates as per Catti 3 in the creation of Ecoplasm and the application upon
dead flesh.  However, if used upon Kindred can lower the resistance of that
kindred to mental disciplines of the Sangio.  This smacks a bit of
similarity to Spoiling but I was trying to think of alternative uses for
Ectoplasm ;)
