Hi all,
I daily check the OOo Bugzilla for new bugs.
Now found this, which claims that the download not happens:
http://openoffice.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=118391

I checked it, went to the download page and started to download 3.3
version from link:

http://download.services.openoffice.org/files/localized/hu/3.3.0/OOo_3.3.0_Win_x86_install-wJRE_hu.exe

I get in Google Chrome: could not connect to
download.services.openoffice.org
Similar happens with FF.

My question is that, the work of
http://download.services.openoffice.org
site transfer on our list.
Can we do anything that the download keep working?
Thanks,
Zoltan

It seems that the host with the Mirrorbrain instance has a problem. I
cannot login or ping the host:

ping download.services.openoffice.org
PING download.services.openoffice.org (192.9.173.38) 56(84) bytes of
data.
^C
--- download.services.openoffice.org ping statistics ---
585 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss, time 584936ms
Unfortunately none of the openoffice.org servers respond to ping.
Whether they are working or not.
F.e. extensions.services,openoffice.org, tools.services.openoffice.org
or www.openoffice.org do not respond to ping but still seem to work.

pootle.services.openoffice.org is not working either.

That's very worrying. Has some action been taken to decommission the servers
at Oracle, or is there another explanation? Is there anyone that can advise
us (I realise former Sun Hamburg staff are not in a position to do so)?

S.
I hope it's not the start of the end as some services are still working like:

http://svn.services.openoffice.org/ooo/
http://www.openoffice.org
I know the Pootle server is in the Hamburg machine room. Perhaps the problem is
with the connection to the Hamburg server room? As I recall SVN and www are
both hosted as part of Kenai, is that correct?
Not http://svn.serveces.openoffice.org/ services are everytime hosted outside Kenai. The www is Kenai yes.

Maybe Andrew Rist can help to find an answer?

Marcus
