I checked the subscriber list for ooo-dev and noticed that there were 5 people subscribed from openoffice.org addresses, including some committers. So I sent out this reminder.
If moderators on other ooo-* lists wish to do the same, it would be most welcome. Moderators can get a list of subscribers by sending an email to: foo-l...@incubator.apache.org Replace "foo" with the actual list name, like "ooo-dev", "ooo-users", "ooo-users-de", etc. The note must be sent from the moderator's email account. I did that, then extracted all the openoffice.org email addresses and send them a reminder. I bcc'ed the recipients, in order to avoid making their email addresses public. If you are willing/able to do this, please respond to this note, saying what list you will cover, so we don't duplicate effort. Regards, -Rob ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Rob Weir <robw...@apache.org> Date: Sun, Mar 11, 2012 at 11:49 AM Subject: Reminder: Retirement of openoffice.org email addresses To: This note is being sent out (bcc) to all subscribers of the ooo-dev@incubator.apache.org who are subscribed via an openoffice.org email address. Please know that these openoffice.org email addresses will stop working after March 16th, 2012. More information on this can be found here: https://blogs.apache.org/OOo/entry/retirement_of_openoffice_org_email If you wish to continue receiving ooo-dev posts, then you will need to resubscribe via another email address, by sending an email from that address to: ooo-dev-subscr...@incubator.apache.org. If you are an Apache committer, also be sure to change your Apache forwarding address as well, so it does not forward to an openoffice.org address: https://id.apache.org/ Regards, -Rob
