In IE9, I see the current <http://www.openoffice.org/download/other.html>
almost exactly the same with compatible and incompatibility views. All of the
information is present; there are slight, harmless changes in some font sizes.
None of the links to the hash codes and such are in the download cells, of
course.

So the difference is not in the !DOCTYPE alone. (It still might make a
difference though.)

The last time I checked the <!DOCTYPE html> is the required one for HTML5.
Other HTML <!DOCTYPE> entries have more information than that and even for
HTML5 provide for compatibility with earlier versions of HTML.

Interesting. If so, you must have the same problems also for the normal
"download/other.html" as I've used this as a template for the new
"download/test/other_print.html".

I cannot see an item for HTML5 support in the header data of the
webpage. Source file, staging file and production file of the
"other_print.html" has "<!DOCTYPE html>" at the top.
