The current development lines are 3.4.x and the "trunk" (which will be used for future releases, i.e., 3.5 or 4).
So: if the bug is solved in 3.4.0, it's useless to report it, since there won't be other releases on the 3.3.x line; if it's not, you can report it as a 3.4.0 bug and specify, in your report, that the bug also applies to 3.3.0. If in doubt, choose the second option (i.e., report it as a 3.4.0 bug and QA volunteers will check if it indeed applies to 3.4.0 too).
