Basically I cannot down-load the Open office programme at all.
I was using the calc section before the pc crashed
I have reinstalled Windows XP Proffessional.plus service pack3
Previously I had a large file of Data saved. and although I still have the
file - without Open office/calc I cannot read it. When I tried to install
open office I got the following message"-" Error 1316 C/windows.3
installer open office.org.33msi." It then uninstalls itself.
I have tried to install it three time now without success.Anybody got any
ideas what the problem is?
My other programmes work ok.

If you have a problem, one of the places you can ask is this mailing
list. If someone knows the answer, they will answer you. This is for
Writer (text documents), Calc (spreadsheets), Impress (slide shows), Base
(database) and Math (writing math equations.
We are a large group of volunteers located throughout the world who
use Apache OpenOffice. This means that we do not always know all the
answers. We became part of this group by subscribing to this list.
Many of the emails send to this list are from someone subscribed to
the list. This way we get to see all the questions sent and the replies
to them. This is how we learn.
