I have a hit showstopper in the MacOSX version of ooRexx 4.0.0. 'pull' does
not return after an enter. I have to try to fix this somewhat later, but
please have a look also - and as a hint, it did work in 3.2.
Also, I have a problem, in that my G5 tower finally broke down. This means
that I can deliver 32 bits PowerPC and Intel versions, but only an Intel 64
bit version - if it builds, I am not sure yet because the 8 core Xeon just
came in. If someone has 64 bit PowerPC hardware that run MaxOSX, please lend
a hand and try to build it. I'll try a cross compile, but in my experience
ooRexx is not your regular example for painless combinations of
architectures. I am still trying to figure out why the precompiled headers
preclude the building of a fat binary for all architectures in one go.

One final thing, I saw that the test suite now has a platform dependent
path. Could we move the platform dependent stuff to the end, so that the
platform independent suite runs first? I am not overwhelmed by this, because
I mostly test on one platform only, and would have thought auto-etcetera
could have crafted the test suite to have the required amount of platform
dependency (which should be limited to build parameters and nothing
further). Please do explain what this brings us.

best regards,

René.
