For the other OSes, I don't think we do anything to set up the links in make install. As I recall, make install on Linux doesn't work that well. David is more knowledgeable in this area. I'm not saying we couldn't improve that, it just is not a high priority. I've always sort of felt that "make install" is for a developer and she can figure out what to do on her own. In general, what I think is important, is having a good installation program for the user The majority of Rexx users are people that don't have the background or skill set to build the interpreter from source. I'd think that is even more true for the Mac user. So, I'd like to see a good, working, make macpackage target that builds a Mac OSX installation package that we can put up on SourceForge, before worrying about "make install." <grin> -- Mark Miesfeld ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by Make an app they can't live without Enter the BlackBerry Developer Challenge http://p.sf.net/sfu/RIM-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Oorexx-devel mailing list Oorexx-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/oorexx-devel
