For the other OSes, I don't think we do anything to set up the links
in make install.  As I recall, make install on Linux doesn't work that
well.  David is more knowledgeable in this area.

I'm not saying we couldn't improve that, it just is not a high
priority.  I've always sort of felt that "make install" is for a
developer and she can figure out what to do on her own.

In general, what I think is important, is having a good installation
program for the user  The majority of Rexx users are people that don't
have the background or skill set to build the interpreter from source.
 I'd think that is even more true for the Mac user.

So, I'd like to see a good, working, make macpackage target that
builds a Mac OSX installation package that we can put up on
SourceForge, before worrying about "make install."  <grin>
