You should also put him in touch with Bob O'Hara -- who is the key person for
the open CMS (sadly pre-VM SP 3) that runs on Hercules. He has already ported
Regina to CMS for that distribution, and I think he was looking at ooRexx. More
hands might make lighter work ...

Bob was the lead for Turbo CMS .. so he really knows his stuff, there.

Dave -

I am replying to you and to our developer mailing list so that this

conversations is documented.

The first thing you need to do is to join the ooRexx developer mailing list at

https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/oorexx-devel. This will get you

into a conversation with all the active developers. Rick McGuire is our

architect and he also has the most CMS experoence of any of our group. If you

want to tackle CMS first then he is the person you need to create a plan with.

We can all help you with C/C++, Subversion. tools and SourceForge issues. We are

trying to maintain a single source tree for all platforms and we will want to

continue that with an new platforms. There will be issues obviously with ASCII

to EBCDIC conversions and other such issues but Rick and myself can guide you

through those issues.

After you join the mailing list we can begin in ernest. We look forward to your

contributions.
