I have a suggestion for representin Null values.
Since you can not please everyone with whatever you choose, you should
make it an instance variable. That way the user can choose whatever
representation they want and override the default choice/value.

Probably, maybe; there already is. I haven't worked out the details
on NULL database values completely yet. And currently the treatment
is a little inconsistent.
