I recently got a ‘should I bin this file for you because it is not often
downloaded’ message from Windows 11 - for the official Regina installer from
SourceForge.
Certainly students should be able to build the software for themselves. That
would be my advice for everyone who doubts: read the source and then build it.
Not my students as they are Business administration students, i.e. they are
*not* informatic students!
