Well, Walter, if you knew what the problem was ...
 
It seems perfectly reasonable to be for the interpreter to treat 'call'
there as the name of a control variable (as that's all that is allowed
there).  But in this case I suppose "loop has no control variable but one is
specified" might be more accurate -- but perhaps is just as confusing?

I know what the problem is: the comma after the End. 

I consider your diagnostic no better. There is no control variable. 

Anyway: the diagnostic in context is what I consider suboptimal!
