At the bank, my tech lead boss is getting deep into the WAS (WebSphere Application Server) Administration Java API to obtain listing of the MQ queues and specific custom properties that are Web
Service URL's. He said that the "trick" with obtaining the information out of WAS via the Java API is to sequentially call four different calls, in the correct order. Sounds hideously non-OO to me....
yet that is how the WAS Admin Java API is built by IBM.
I say both belong in the category "Great once accomplished!"
