Dear Rony, I have been busy with IRL things lately so no time to reply, I can support a release if it is agreed to go on, I would suggest in the days between Christmas and New Year. Before Christmas there will be to many private things to attend to.
I have confirmed that I can switch the build machine to another source using a script (i.e. ONE change for all platforms) but there is still the problem that the revision number remains also when building a release version. There is something about this in CMakeLists.txt but it does not seem to work. have no solution how to fix this. The same goes for the revision shown in the built documentation.
