Hello Rick and Mark (sorry for calling you Mike in earlier messages),

OK, to find the version of ooRexx I'm using, I decided to check the Windows
list of installed programs. The version I'm using is: 4.2.0.9860

(Just a thought: Consider including the full number in the download file
name.)

Even, though, the date on the download page is January 30, I downloaded the
file again and when I ran the setup Wizard the release number is
different. It is now at: 4.2.0.9892. So, I'm going to try 4.2.0.9892.

Obviously, I hope this difference is the cause of the problem. I also hope
someone, someday will address the topic on helping users self determine:

   - The current version of ooRexx
   - Are they running the most recent version of ooRexx.

Yeah, another thought / suggestion: How about having program (using
RxSock) or a function that can check to see if ooRexx is current. Of
course current can mean different things to different people: e.g. current
beta versus current production and also one would need to take into
considering the OS and its bit level.

OK, enough for now. I'm going to install and will let you now later how it
turns out.

I still would like to see the "-x" flag and a method to determine the
parameters for -X in the testing program.

Take care and sorry for wasting your time (assuming the difference between
9860 and 9892 is the reason).
