Sorry to bother you again but I look aroud on the Xilinx website about their serial prom for the Spartan3-2000 and found they recommand the XCF08P. I look up the data sheet and see there is a way to select the program revision you want to load on the following model : XCF08P, XCF16P, and XCF32P. Also you can easy load what you want, where you want it, even if you didn't select the section to be loaded on the FPGA.
