Well I suppose I'm looking at a solution for multiple items here.
1) Announcement type sheet for OGP saying we've progressed and here is what
we have. Oh and if your interested in helping development here are some
ways to get a discount on a board..
2) Announcement Product sheet for OGD1 as a FPGA development board (and or
other things?). This, in my understanding, needs to be handled as a
Traversal Product because at the moment OGP has no way to accept $$ for
anything. Plus I believe this was the original plan.
I'm looking at solving both of this (with different brochures).<snip>
A pdf of a brochure such as you have started looks great. Are you
thinking of a download for printing, or displaying it on the wiki..
(personally I would prefer a download that people can print and take
away to show their boss/professor).
If no one disagrees, for news pages on the home page:
14 is already on and.. looking at the wiki stats, this has been missed
so I should make a seperate announcement..
15 on Monday (the arrival of the prototypes)
16 (Nov 1 testing the prototypes) mid week and
17 (pictures of the board) either sun/Mon (any preferences?)
would Nov 26th be enough time to
finish the touching up some of the photos (I would dearly love to
include our best photo in the newsletter 17),
Complete these brochures (again I would love want to link to these in
News 17) and
check the wiki?
This is such an important achievement for OGP, that it would be good
to have our wiki up to date, coherent and consistent for our future
customers and designers. I think it is reasonably good, but as an
example, the ODG1 page needs a little updating.
With the wiki: Accuracy, spelling fixes/grammer/ better wording.. with
this we all can take part and any shy lurking ones could join in and
have a role here too. And if you are not sure about something in the
wiki, post to the list - It may not be clear enough or it even might
be wrong. Either way, if it makes you wonder about it - it probably
needs fixing :-)
