There may be things the TI DSP isn't good at.  CAD?  Google earth?
So we might still need an ASIC for a future board.

I wouldn't really know, but I somehow don't think that this part would
cut it at all for desktop graphics, it's not designed for this, but
rather as a CPU/DSP for portable computers.
