Found an add for this:

It appears to be general purpose for:

Xout        Xin
Yout  = [A]*Yin + [b]
Zout        Xin

So it would convert any color space to any color space.

Also does this operation come up often in a shader?

That is: vector(3) = matrix(3x3)*vector(3) + vector(3)
