Dan,
I probably confused you with my last post because I was confused. I had been
corresponding with Dan W. and just took up where I left off.

I tried the srfsh command:
login admin open-ils staff
but I get error messages.

Reading some more posts from several months ago, I thought perhaps the log
output would be helpful. Here it is:

srfsh 2008-04-28 12:21:00 [DEBG:11101:osrf_stack.c:73:] We received 1 messages

When I check the fqdn with the perl -MNet::Domain=hostfqdn -e "print
hostfqdn();" command I get this: epworth-eg.
Are there other logs within which to look?

Thanks,

Tom Patterson

Tom:

Can you log in successfully via srfsh?

See step 20 of
http://open-ils.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=installing_evergreen_1.2_on_debian_etch_x86_32-bit
for creating the .srfsh.xml config file, and then see the "Testing
connections to Evergreen" section of the same document for how to test
a login with srfsh.
