We have a library that regularly will have an item that has a status of "In Process" and go to check it out to the patron. I found that to allow this the staff has to have the following permission:
COPY_NOT_AVAILABLE.override Before the permission is applied, the staff member gets a permission failure message. However, once this permission is applied, we get the following network error: Network or server failure. Please check your Internet connection to eg-training.cwmars.org and choose Retry Network. If you need to enter Offline Mode, choose Ignore Errors in this and subsequent dialogs. If you believe this error is due to a bug in Evergreen and not network problems, please contact your help desk or friendly Evergreen administrators, and give them this information: method=open-ils.circ.checkout.full.override params=["d9e7e460a643128dc1daf60a7da4b6d2",{"barcode":"313941234","patron":380565},0] THROWN: {"payload":[],"debug":"osrfMethodException : *** Call to [open-ils.circ.checkout.full.override] failed for session [1314644682.774343.13146446827990], thread trace [1]:\nCan't call method \"duration_rule\" on an undefined value at /usr/local/share/perl/5.10.1/OpenILS/Application/Circ/Circulate.pm line 1751.\n\n","status":500} STATUS: I'm not sure if this is a bug or something about how the system is designed to work. -- Tim Spindler Manager of Library Applications tspind...@cwmars.org 508-755-3323 x20 IM: tjspindler (AOL, meebo, google wave) C/W MARS, Inc. 67 Millbrook St, Suite 201 Worcester, MA 01606 http://www.cwmars.org *P** Go Green - **Save a tree!
