Hi, I’m working on deleting items in a bucket at the present time that has duplicate titles. Don’t know when or how it happened. Kay

However, most of us create and use the buckets on the same day so it may be that we just don't use the buckets in a way to see the error. Also, have you tried refreshing the bucket in case it is a display or sync issue? Refresh a few times to see if that removes the duplicates. Copy buckets are useful for global changes to item attributes, deleting large numbers of items and moving items attached to one bibliographic record to another bibliographic record. Record buckets are used to merge duplicate records. You can also create CSV files and export records from the record buckets. PINES libraries generally only use record buckets to merge records so I am not familiar with the exact nature of the other functions. Elaine _____ J. Items are added to the bucket one day, and then there are duplicates (sometimes 2, 3 or even 4) in the bucket the next day. Is anyone else having this problem? If so, what have you done to fix it? Also (please forgive my ignorance), what is the intended purpose of buckets? One of the things we wanted to do with the record bucket was to print a list of books that included call numbers, so that student workers could pull the books for a display. I cannot seem to find a way to do that anywhere in Evergreen (except maybe in a report).
