Hi All - we've recently noticed a problem with renewing books from patron
accounts.  We're not sure how long it has been going on because we can only
trace it to some complaints we've had over the last month or so.  Students
have reported and we've tested and confirmed, that when they attempt to
renew a book from their account, they get the message that no renewals are
allowed because the book is needed for a hold.  When staff check, there are
no holds on the item(s) and they can do the renewal(s) from the client.  It
is not happening universally and we cannot spot any problems with the patron
account or the items that are not renewing as they should.  Any ideas about
what might be causing this??
