Hi Vicki,

PINES is set up so that the patron database is shared among 285 libraries.  
Each patron has a "home library" but can use all libraries in the system.  The 
items are owned by individual libraries within library systems.  You probably 
should not use shelving locations to designate branches, just assign each item 
you catalog to be "owned" by each individual branch.

As far as statistics go, you can tailor reports to show your statistics by 
branch or by shelving location, whichever you prefer.
