Robert Soulliere wrote up these instructions as part of the documentation some time ago: http://docs.evergreen-ils.org/2.3/_upgrade_the_evergreen_code.html You can subsitute 2.3.1 for 2.3.0 throughout, as Evergreen 2.3.1 was released very recently and the docs haven't had time to catch up yet.
