Hi Don,
MassLNC and Bibliomation have sponsored a development project to provide
an alphabetical browse in the Evergreen catalog. It should be available
in time for 2.5. More details are available at
http://blog.esilibrary.com/2013/02/18/930/.

Colleagues,
Our data is loading into Evergreen and we will soon need to make some
decisions on the OPAC. One of the features that I will really miss, is
the ability to do browse searches. VuFind is an open source OPAC
option that includes browse searches. I see that the Pennsylvania
Integrated Library System (PaILS) <http://www.palibrary.org/pails/> is
currently using VuFind. Are their any other libraries that have chosen
this as an option? Would anyone be willing to share your experiences
with the list?
I don't suppose one of you Tech Wizards out there could just copy the
browse code from VuFind and paste it into TPAC...
