As Terran says the current_copy isn't populated until the hold is targeted (for
pull list) or actually filled. It can be useful as a way of seeing quickly how
many holds for a patron will be filled by things on the shelf vs returns.
There are barcode and copy id columns you can add to the patron list to get the
copy the hold is on though (at least on 3.3.5). Unfortunately, it isn't a link
so you have to copy and paste to actually pull up the copy. It would be nice if
more displays that showed unique identifiers were links to those
bibs/items/patrons.

the item is Available. It seems to me that since the barcode won't change since
the hold is a copy hold, the barcode should appear during all phases of the
hold.
