Hi everyone, not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but here
goes.

Im trying to setup a RAC environment using 3 pcs. The two RAC nodes
are using OEL5, with openfiler for the storage. I was able to set up
iscsid successfully for both nodes and got up to creating ASM disk
groups, but after restarting the servers the iscsid service wouldn't
start.

The error is:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[r...@racnode1-priv ~]# service iscsid start
Turning off network shutdown. Starting iSCSI daemon: [FAILED]

Is there any errors in /var/log/messages?

When you run that command is iscsid already started (do ps -u root | grep iscsid)?
