Hi, I ran into this same problem (and found this thread while googling for it), and compared CentOS 6 and 7 settings.
The fix, for me, was to edit /etc/iscsi/iscsid.conf and change the line iscsid.safe_logout = Yes ... to = No Then: systemctl restart iscsid.service After that, the logout worked. (And, multipath did the right thing!)
