Just to get it right too. You can bootstrap OpenJPA by the means of 
PersistenceProviderImpl but still obtain a JDO persistenceManager. But the 
important question is, where to put things which were formerly in 
kodo.properties? Or is PersistenceProviderImpl able to load from 
kodo.properties?
