I have checked the binaries, and they are 32-bit ones. So, architecture doesn’t seem to be a problem.
Even my guess is it is related to the compiler options. If there is a oscap msi/exe version that is compiled with flags to support older windows versions, it will help. In case if anybody has it, can you please share the same? I am guessing the application is either compiled to be 64 bit and won't run on 32 bit in any way.. or is compiled with a newer compiler system which has turned off XP support becuase it is considered EOL/too insecure. > Thanks. > > Regards, > Bharath M > > _______________________________________________ > Open-scap-list mailing list > Open-scap-list@redhat.com > https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__www.redhat.com_ma > ilman_listinfo_open-2Dscap-2Dlist&d=DwIBaQ&c=UrUhmHsiTVT5qkaA4d_oSzcam > b9hmamiCDMzBAEwC7E&r=AUaowh4kDgwmfFF8B9dpIGVcrfeOZDaHu6Di1CZTnp4&m=I2X > l1G5HH-nlNh3rPMGpcBuQce9keqM0dG5VrWEAn6I&s=HMz_i4lnv8Zne44JHMj7RDTS9mn > DLwM13-73xMBE83g&e= -- Stephen J Smoogen. _______________________________________________ Open-scap-list mailing list Open-scap-list@redhat.com https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/open-scap-list
